Achieving
a successful interview with an airline requires not only flight time and
licenses, but also, knowledge and skills that aren’t presented in
typical flight training curricula. Often, prospective candidates achieve
success only after several tries through a trial and error process delaying
their entry into the field and losing out on golden opportunities. Through
our airline interview preparation course, avoid the common pitfalls
experienced by many candidates and gain the skills you need BEFORE going to
the interview. Through real life mock interview sessions, build your
confidence and skills to prepare you for that important day. The
course curriculum consists of the following core areas:

Human Resource o
Situational and behavioral type questions
II.
Technical o
Jeppesen approach plates, high/low altitude enroute
charts o
Part 61, 91, and 121 regulations o
AIM with emphasis on IFR operations o
Weather o
Aerodynamics o
Systems o
Mental Math
III.
Simulator Evaluation (1.5 hours on an approved PCTAD) o
Take-offs, climbs, descents, configuration changes, holds, approaches
IV.
Written Test o
ATP standards
V.
Verbal and Non-Verbal Communication Skills o
Presentation techniques, voice tone, dress, combating nerves and other
interview survival techniques
VI.
Resumes, application procedures and documentation o
Resume review, background check, logbooks and more The
course features one-on-one interaction with the instructor and personalized feedback.
The student will receive a total of 8 hours of instruction which includes 1.5
hours on a PCTAD simulator. Courses are typically scheduled over a 2 day
period though accommodations can be made to complete the course in one day. Rates:
*Course duration will increase 1.5
hours for each additional student to allow for simulator time
